it’s not about changing.
it’s about the dropping away of what hides who we are.
it’s about the reveal.
not so much becoming as being.
so that we can start.
but from where we were
before we became who we are not intended to be.
what’s the better question?
what’s the better life? the one lived, or the one revealed?
The answer is always, always, always,
within the question.
the one revealed is the one lived.
living is the reveal.
there was a glisten in the sun,
on the wind.
in the wind.
and peace interrupted
that cannot be undone.
not by you.
because only the peace is yours.
and only the unrest cannot be owned-
and hence not shared.
to be lost in the internal unrest of another
blown about the in the wind,
in the mote of the sunbeam
crossing from light
and left without choice
to move from one to the other
but graced with the awareness to linger fully while warm.
